Nick Ruffin Excavating kicked off 2026 with a new project, helping to prepare the site for OrthoArkansas' new state-of-the-art surgery center in North Little Rock, Arkansas. We partnered with Nabholz Construction Corporation to provide earthwork and storm drainage services, creating the foundation of a successful site development.

Located in NorthShore Business Park, the facility will span over 47,000 square feet and include 10 operating rooms, 20 pre-operative bays, 20 post-anesthesia care unit recovery bays, and three overnight stay rooms.

The site sits on approximately 11.05 acres with a project area of approximately 6.33 acres. Our work consisted of approximately 26,000 cubic yards of imported fill and over 2,000 linear feet of storm drainage.

Despite losing a week of work due heavy snow, the project was completed in 5 weeks from mobilization to demobilization - 3 weeks ahead of schedule.
